Murphy, Heather J. (Articol)

“This article deals with how space, gender, and notions of belonging in the sense of nationalist and personal identity frameworks are constructed and experienced in a virtual world. I will explore how issues of embodied understanding are altered when ones sensory aptitude switches from the “real world” to an invented, online world, and the consequences this has on how the overall game is experienced.”
